The mild climate and the picturesque lanes give to the dreamy village the typical mediterranean ambience with avenues of tamarisks, a little port and some very ancient houses made of stone.
The little bars look inviting to drink a coffee or just get a snack there at the boardwalks along the shore. And in the evenings you can enjoy in one of the exceedingly hospitable taverns or konobas right next to the sea the dishes, which are typical of this country, e.g. freshly-fished fish.
The unspoiled nature of the Biokovo National Park, the crystal-clear water of the Makarska-Riviera and various leisure activities in the surroundings offer active holidaymakers an ideal environment.
You can do rock-climbing, walking, sailing, fishing or diving and even just go to the seaside for one's holiday. And e.g. in the tourism centre of Makarska which is 10 km away from Drašnice you can end the day in one of the numerous night clubs or discos.
